Documenting Human Rights Violations

Against the Rohingya

Research Assistants are partnering with Human Rights Watch and Physicians for Human Rights to document atrocities against the Rohingya people in Myanmar. Through developing new satellite-based algorithms, the destruction of villages can be ‘time-stamped’ to within two days of its attack. This information is used to corroborate the on-the-ground interviews and medical examinations of Rohingya refugees, increasing the evidentiary weight of their accounts in international courts.
