Location Analytics for Mass Migration

Research Assistants are developing Python-based workflows to leverage data from anonymous smartphones to provide indications of mass migration. In cooperation with private data providers, this research hopes to provide the international community with early warning of possible mass migrations, allowing them to preposition aid and other resources to the likely destination of the refugees or internally-displaced persons.
